Perimeter Solutions introduces SOLBERG VERSAGARD line of fluorine-free, alcohol-resistant firefighting foam concentrates for Class B purposes

Perimeter Solutions announced the introduction of a new line of fluorine-free firefighting foam concentrates for basic function use. Called SOLBERG VERSAGARD, the fluorine-free line debuts with SOLBERG VERSAGARD AS-100. SOLBERG VERSAGARD AS-100 multipurpose 3×3 fluorine-free foam concentrate is an alcohol resistant, state-of-the-art pseudoplastic foam expertise designed for extinguishing and securing each Class B (hydrocarbon and polar solvent liquid fuel) and deep-seated Class A fires. This biodegradable and non-persistent concentrate is made with no siloxanes and is a combination of hydrocarbon surfactants and components that delivers wonderful foaming, vapor sealing, extinguishment and burn-back properties using recent, sea or brackish water. Some fluorine-free foams are viscous and sometimes show viscosity improve when involved with water. SOLBERG VERSAGARD AS-100 creates very stable foams whereas keeping a similar viscosity to conventional AR-AFFF foams. This considerably improves storage, dealing with and long-term stability. A broad range of use applications
SOLBERG VERSAGARD AS-100 is designed to generate stable foams with high fluidity and gradual drainage. This novel expertise allows SOLBERG VERSAGARD to carry out equally to fluorinated merchandise. It may be used with low-expansion foam equipment (nozzles and monitors) and medium- and high-expansion foam discharge gadgets to fight fires involving Class B hydrocarbon and polar solvent gas fires.
