Atlas Copco’s acquisition of Wangen Pumpen, KSB’s new strain booster system for water supply and Amarinth’s 18m-long pumps have been the most popular stories on the World Pumps website in February.
Atlas Copco has agreed to accumulate the German industrial pump manufacturer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from private equity firm Silverfleet Capital.
KSB has launched its new ready-to-connect stress booster systems for the Delta Macro type series, that are models that operate totally routinely and are equipped with between two and 6 Movitec high-efficiency centrifugal pumps.
Amarinth has accomplished a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a model new FPSO being built for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).
