Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and full metering systems. The company employs round 1200 folks and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a long tradition of supporting clients and creating leading industrial circulate expertise for efficient, precise and secure handling of fluids,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through เพรสเชอร์เกจ constructing our presence and know-how providing within optimistic displacement pumps.”
Geveke, which was based in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers advanced and complex process pump installations. The company is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 employees and had revenues of approximately €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has robust engineering capability, providing full industrial pump solutions from idea to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is anticipated to be completed in the course of the second quarter 2022.
The primary a part of the acquired businesses could have its base in the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be a part of the Service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
