Unlike diaphragm, rotary lobe, and PC pumps, the peristaltic design of the Watson Marlow Bredel hose pumps incorporates no shifting elements that come into contact with the product. It has no seals, ball-checks, diaphragms, glands, immersed rotors, stators or pistons to leak, clog, corrode or replace.
Bredel hose pumps also eliminate the necessity for ancillary tools corresponding to dry run safety, seal water flush methods and in-line examine valves. A hose change takes only minutes and may be performed in-situ with out special tools or skilled personnel.
The pumped fluid is completely contained in a long-life hose, protecting operation and upkeep personnel and the setting from unwanted spillages or publicity to chemical compounds. Flow is entirely independent of suction and discharge circumstances. The Bredel hose is precision machined to ensure circulate stability and pump efficiency in tough fluid dealing with purposes.
