Trillium Flow Technologies is buying Termomeccanica Pompe SpA, the Italian engineered pump manufacturing company that serves the facility, desalination, water transmission and oil and gasoline markets.
The two firms have signed a joint agreement that will bring the Termomeccanica Pompe, Gabbioneta Pumps and Begemann manufacturers together underneath the Trillium umbrella in Italy.
When the deal closes, La Spezia-based Termomeccanica will give consideration to creating the ecological and fuel compression sectors, the place its subsidiaries TME and TMIC function.
Trillium, a portfolio firm of world private equity investment agency First Reserve, is the previous Weir Flow Control business.
