The 30 deepwell gas pumps will be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders to date. It can be the second LNG gas pump techniques order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj in the final 12 months. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to offer deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell fuel pumps in 2021, and says there are many indications that sales may improve even additional in 2022.
“Until เพรสเชอร์เกจไฮดรอลิค of years ago, the use of LNG as a marine fuel was restricted to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are actually seeing a pointy improve in gas pump orders for deep sea vessels similar to container ships and car carriers,” mentioned Johnny Houmann, chief sales officer at Svanehøj. “We had been chosen as the provider of fuel pump methods for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we goal to extend our market share further in the coming years.”
