Rain Bird has added a new IC model to its Golf Solenoid Valve Series product line. This new mannequin supplies the numerous advantages of GSV Series Valves to programs currently utilizing the Rain Bird IC System, which connects irrigation central management immediately to every rotor and valve for optimum water and vitality effectivity.
“In today’s extremely competitive setting, golf programs can’t afford the expense, labor and downtime that valve failures could cause,” said Altan Tolan, product manager for Rain Bird Golf. “By including this new IC mannequin to our GSV Series, we’re in a position to give courses which have upgraded to our IC System optimum valve reliability, performance and peace of mind.”

Originally launched in December 2021, GSV Series Valves are a solution for golf programs in lightning-prone areas, those that use reclaimed water and people who need stress regulation. In addition to the new IC model, the GSV Series contains three plastic fashions and one pink brass mannequin, each with NPT or BSP thread options. All GSV Series Valves characteristic a pre-installed PRS-DIAL that regulates and maintains fixed outlet stress between 15 and one hundred psi while decreasing the results of water hammer. A waterproof dial cartridge eliminates fogging and binding.
A chlorine-resistant diaphragm protects GSV Series Valves against harsh chemicals and reclaimed water. On digital pressure gauge , a scrubber mechanism with a stainless-steel display dislodges grit and plant material, protecting the valve from particles. Built-in filtration on the GBS25 solenoid offers a second level of particles protection. Plastic and brass models come with an additional purple flow-control deal with cowl for use with non-potable water.
“Over the past 12 months, we’ve gotten great feedback from golf courses now utilizing GSV Valves,” Tolan mentioned. “Expanding this line to include an IC mannequin is another instance of how Rain Bird Golf is bringing revolutionary, water-saving merchandise to much more golf courses worldwide.”
