The ITER project is a joint worldwide analysis and growth challenge to reveal the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion energy. The demonstration facility is underneath development in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and will be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.
Hayward Tyler’s booster pumps will be an integral part of the drying system for the Tokamak Cooling Water System (TCWS). The pumps will be designed, built and examined at Hayward Tyler Inc in Colchester, Vermont, USA.
Hayward Tyler and Energy Steel are both part of the Engineered Pumps and Motors Division of Avingtrans plc.
“We are elated that two of our companies can provide products that will contribute to this formidable challenge,” stated Mike Turmelle, managing director of Avingtrans’ Engineered Pumps and Motors Division. “ เกจวัดน้ำยาแอร์refco ’re committed and proud to contribute to the superior nuclear trade.” These contracts observe earlier awards that ITER has made to Avingtrans’ Engineered Pumps and Motors Division.
