Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and complete metering methods. The firm employs around 1200 people and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a protracted custom of supporting prospects and growing leading industrial circulate technology for efficient, precise and safe handling of fluids,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are constructing our presence and expertise offering inside constructive displacement pumps.”

The acquisition is predicted to be completed during the second quarter 2022.
The major part of the acquired businesses may have its base in the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be part of the Service division inside Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
