Alfa Laval has signed an agreement to acquire Scanjet, a global provider of tank cleaning equipment and solutions for marine, offshore and industrial functions.

Scanjet’s intelligent tank management options scale back the water utilization and vitality consumption linked with tank cleaning. The firm employs around 150 individuals, has factories in Sweden, Poland and Indonesia, and has an annual turnover of about SEK300 million.
“Scanjet’s well-known and market-leading options for cargo tanks complement our existing Framo cargo pumping options for cargo handling. This offers us the ability to optimize tank administration for our prospects with an ambition to minimize back their water and gasoline consumption and in the end their CO2 footprint,” says Sameer Kalra, president of Alfa Laval’s Marine Division.
